A great way to exercise is together as a family. We’ve compiled a list of activities that you and the youngsters can do together while the sun is shining!

Backyard Fun:
You don’t necessarily have to leave the house in order to get off the couch. Simply take a few steps into your own backyard. Games like freeze tag, Red Rover, and hide and seek are always a hit. Or, ask your kids to contribute ideas to create a new game.
Walk it Out, Hike it Up:
Walking is a great form of exercise for the whole family, whether its a walk around the neighborhood or heading up to the mountains. To keep things exciting, pack a picnic or create a treasure hunt. Explore your imagination with your kids, make up a story or an adventure as you climb up a mountain or explore your cul-de-sac
At young age children start to learn through the power of imitation; what you do as their parent will fuel how they make choices in life. Showing them that being active is a vital part of staying healthy, is a great way to encourage healthy choices in their future. Spring is the perfect time to get outside and stay healthy and active as a family.
