Pediatric Care Group, P.C. was founded in 2003 to reinvent how pediatric care was delivered in the Philadelphia area.

At the time pediatric care was dominated by larger, multi-location practices owned by a small number of pediatricians who had been running their practices the same way for decades.

Two pediatricians and friends worked at one such practice. They saw how that practice was managed, the quality of care delivered to patients, and how their fellow doctors were treated. They wanted to focus on delivering superior patient care in a supportive environment from a team of caring providers. They knew they could do better.

“We took a huge leap of faith... putting at risk our professional careers, reputation, financial resources and future to launch a fledgling new practice and upend how medical care was provided at the time. It was a huge challenge, but we knew we could help so many more children and their families,” says Dr. Marylee Mundell, one of the practices co-founders.

Over the next two decades, Pediatric Care Group grew from those humble beginnings to a caring and dedicated team of doctors, nurse practitioners and support staff to conveniently serving patients in the Philadelphia suburbs of Jenkintown and Richboro.

PCG has never lost sight of the original vision so many years ago... a never-ending focus on quality, treating patients and colleagues with respect and always putting patients first.
