With busy spring schedules, it can sometimes be difficult to find the time to make healthy snacks for the kids. Luckily, we have compiled a list of quick snacks to make in a pinch, that even the pickiest eaters will enjoy. Below are our three healthy springtime snacks to help out any parent in a hurry!
Fresh Fruit Popsicles. So simple! All you need is a Popsicle mold, coconut water, and fresh fruit. Take the ingredients & blend and pour into the molds, and then wait until frozen. Then you have a healthy snack to help cool you down without all the extra sugar.
Banana Roll-Ups. All you need is a tortilla wrap, peanut butter, and a banana! Spread the peanut butter, peel the banana, and then: roll. Within seconds the perfect protein packed snack; that we give your kids (and you) energy until dinner. Can’t do peanut butter? There are a number of spreads, and fruits/vegetables you can substitute. Try almond butter and strawberry, or sunflower butter and apple!
Frozen Yogurt Bark. Light, cool and refreshing! With only three ingredients needed (and multiple adaptations) this healthy and easy snack is a must for your spring list! All do you is pour some fat-free Greek yogurt onto a parchment covered baking pan, sprinkle a random assortment of berries (and/or other fruits) and freeze. Done! Freeze for a few hours then bang them apart into savory bite size treats.
